In de container komt rechts een lijstje tevoorschijn met alle stappen die er gedaan moeten worden voordat Google Optimize volledig werkt. Hieronder wordt er een uitleg gegeven bij elke stap. DE STAPPEN NADAT ER EEN ACCOUNT IS AANGEMAAKT.: Stap 1 - Hierna moet er een experiment worden gecreëerd. Je hoeft het experiment nog niet in te stellen, dit kan later nog worden gedaan. Stap 2 - Nu moet Google Analytics worden gekoppeld aan Optimize, waarbij de link van je website moet worden doorgegeven en/of je Google Analytics account uit de lijst selecteren. Stap 3 - We zijn nu op het punt aangekomen dat we de code van de website moeten aanpassen. Deze codes staan onder de knop Plug-In bekijken. Er zijn 2 stukjes code nodig om Optimize optimaal te laten werken. De tracking code voor Google Optimize en een stukje code dat ervoor zorgt dat de pagina altijd maar 1 variant weergeeft, zonder dat de pagina knippert. De Optimize trackingcode moet vóór de Google Analytics code worden geplaatst, en als de trackingcode via een hulpprogramma word geplaatst Bijv.
